Cette baignade naturelle est une transformation de piscine existante. La mairie, avec ses 3000 âmes, ne pouvait pas financer la restauration de la piscine datant des annèes 60. La construction de la baignade naturelle a permis de conserver le plaisir de l'eau au sein de la ville sans faire des dizaines de kilomètres pour les usagers.
